Our thoughts, prayers, and emotions become tangible substances in the heavenly realm. God uses these substances in various ways and distributes them in ways that either directly help us or help others.
This visual inspiration from God could represent a variety of issues we deal with. Addiction, pride, greed, hate, pornography, or anything else that causes a separation from experiencing the full glory of a close relationship with God.
It could also represent a variety of personal barriers as well. In my case, it’s overcoming the severe anxiety and being overwhelmed by crafting the art and furniture on this site.
Visualize your issue in regards to 10 orbs of light. You are in the presence of God knowing that you need to surrender your issue/orbs to Him in order to fully move beyond the captivity of your issue. You graciously hand your orbs over to Him 1 by 1 and as you do, you feel a sense of relief and peace as each one passes from your hand into the hands of God. As you get closer to the tenth and final orb you start to feel a tingle of unrest. You know you should give all ten orbs but you have never lived with “none of them”, and they’ve always been a part of you, and there is a certain “justifiable twisted comfort” in these orbs no matter what the issue is. So after your ninth orb passes from your hands into the hands of God, you pause….. As you pick up and hold that tenth orb in your hands, there is a mixed feeling of relief, hesitancy, fear, and many unfamiliar feelings that have been holding you back from what you know in your heart you should do. You have the feeling that you need to hold onto that last orb “just in case”. You have the feeling that you’ve already given soooo much to God, and what would be the significance of just this one little orb. You blurt out the following phrase in a loud voice as you justifiably chuckle “It’s GOD! He can do ANYTHING with what I’ve already sacrificially given him”! So you hold on to that one…. little…. insignificant…. orb…. that’s wrapped in selfish denial.
This whole experience has changed your life in some way, and you feel renewed in Christ in dealing with this issue. I mean c’mon you’ve given Him 9 of your 10 orbs!! You feel on top of the world for a while and it’s easy to deal with the little temptations or small instances that held you in chains for so long. Eventually, due to the fact that you haven’t fully given your issue over to God, you consciously and unconsciously let it slip back in…. One small insignificant piece at a time, and before you know it, it has you in bondage once again and often time, even worse than before.
Let me give you a visual of what’s happening at the time when you were surrendering your orbs to God.
In the spiritual realm where both angels and demons exist, the angels fight against the demons that tempt us and try and do everything with the power granted them to ultimately destroy us and keep us as far away from God as possible.There is a constant battle going on, but when you are at that point when you’re surrendering your orbs to God, the fight shifts to that specific issue. The demons are filled with a bloodlust because they cringe at the fact of losing one of their biggest allies in the fight against God! The angels also know this and rally their forces in your defense! They have their regular angelic power used in everyday spiritual warfare, but when the person is in the process of fully submitting themselves to God, they receive “extra” ammo to use! As you hand over your orbs, God transforms them into this spiritual ammo for them to use. As the fight rages on, your angels start to take the upper hand! Indescribable spiritual weapons, intense sounds accompanying vibrant and vivid colors battling each other in humanly inconceivable ways! The angels are glancing back at God to both receive this special ammunition as well as to thank Him and praise Him. Spiritually bruised and bloodied they see the victory in sight for your affliction as one by one the demons flee in defeat, but a few of the strong ones remain….. Your angels hurl their strongest attack against these last demons! The angels ask God “why are these ones so strong”?!! God answers back “because these are the ones that have been with my child from the start and know them the best. They know how to trick and twist the truth in ways to keep them in bondage and to keep them from seeing their true strength and potential”. The angels return to their fight on the cusp of victory but at that moment the spiritual ammo begins to fade. The angels look to God with desperation and confusion and shout “We are so close! We only need a little more to release your child from bondage! LORD, IS THERE NO MORE AMMO”?!!!
At that point our Lord and Savior closes his eyes…. bows his head…. and with sadness says “He only give me nine”.
The angels continue their fight for you, but never fully defeat the strongest forces. Little by little more demons return to the battle and slip through the angelic defense and trick and influence him again. During this ongoing battle one of the angelic leaders asks God “Lord, why don’t you just end this and destroy these demons for good and release your child from their affliction“? God replies “Sometimes I do, but in this case, it needs to be his choice. He will not learn anything if I do it for him. There will come a time where he will have another chance. He may then fully surrender and claim victory over this issue. If he does, I will give him overwhelming peace and understanding. I will then use him in ways he cannot see right now. Until then, it is still his choice.… It is still his free will to surrender”.
